Envínate, Táganan Blanco 2017

Updated: Nov 18, 2019

"Wine Yourself"...

Envínate, translates literally as ‘wine yourself’ & is the collab project from 4 Spanish wine maker friends focusing on wines of Atlantic influenced purity. The ‘Taganan’ Blanco is comprised of an array of very old indigenous varietals that includes Listan Blanco, Albillo Criollo, Marmajuelo, Gual, and Malvasia, located on the island of Tenerife, which is a part of the Canary Islands. All the fruit is hand picked, foot trodden, fermented with wild yeasts, some seeing skin contact & aged in old barrels for 8 months with minimal sulfur added.

The salty Atlantic air brings a distinct savory, mineral structure, with smoky, tangy citrus fruit & a bright, slightly nutty round mouthfeel.
